Cartes 2006 once again brought together Logika colleagues from Italy and China and the Intercard team from the United Kingdom.

This year Intercard were instrumental in ensuring the infrastructure was in place so that Logika's latest products could be showcased. As can be seen from the photographs the corporate image was highly evident, providing a reinforcement of the increased strength of Logika's position as a player in the card personalisation systems market place worldwide.

Whilst members of the technical team were on hand to discuss all aspects of the range, the event was primarily used to demonstrate the all-new Logika Mailer III, the Inserter III and the EMV900 multi-function card personalisation systems.

For those of you unable to attend this year, the Mailer III is the new generation mailer from Logika. Based upon the very reliable Mailer II the Logika III utilises the same modular design as the LC2000 (Domi.Net) series to enable ease of connectivity. The Mailer III is complete with the very latest electronics and up rated mechanics and features a refined label attachment technology. This provides clean and efficient fixing of cards to carriers. With an ease of use and a 1500 card per hour throughput, the Mailer III will cope with the most demanding jobs.

The Logika Inserter III is designed to work in conjunction with the all-new Logika Mailer III and the LC2000 series.

The Inserter III's robust build quality allows long runs to be handled with ease, whilst the speedy set-up and quick changeover between jobs makes it equally viable for short runs.

The optional insert stations can handle a wide variety of materials including single sheets, card, reply envelopes, pre-folded items and booklets.

The high tech, pre-specified, multi-function EMV900 card personalisation series is designed to be the solution to the market's growing demand for a custom-built, high reliability centralised card issuance system for both standard and EMV cards.

Logika have continued their policy of integrating the latest technology into the EMV900 product, ensuring the finest components are combined with the usual fine Logika build quality.

So, in summary, aside of availing us of the opportunity to pursue our objective of increased exposure for Logika's market driven product portfolio, the Cartes exhibition has successfully enabled Intercard to re-establish old acquaintances and discover new customers and partners.
